Frequently Asked Questions
More detail on DORA Register of Information reporting
We have a news article that gives a good introduction to what the DORA reporting obligations are and some brief discussion around DORA reporting timelines. In addition to this, here are some key snippets of latest DORA reporting news.
Reporting Taxonomy
DORA is currently reported using Reporting Framework 4.0 published by the European Banking Authority, and remains the version to use for 31 December 2025 reporting.
Reporting Framework 4.3 is the next version due out, and this will be the framework to use from 31 December 2026 onwards. This will largely be a consolidation of previous releases but there may be some minor changes that reporters will need to be aware of.
Common Issues
Following the first DORA Registers of Information reporting deadline, the ESAs released a document detailing key common issues observed in submitted reports.
This document contains some useful insight, as well as highlighting where requirements apparently differ from what was released in the Filing Rules.
Register Maintenance?
While not a specific update, the ESAs have shown an interest in how reporters are maintaining the Register of Information throughout the year.
What do you do? Is your DORA Register of Information a living document, or is it more something that is collated just prior to the reporting date?
