Insurance Recovery and Resolution Directive (IRRD) XBRL Reporting with Olive Octagon
The first draft Insurance Recovery and Resolution Directive (IRRD) XBRL reporting taxonomy is now out, and EIOPA is requesting feedback by 31 October 2025.
Our simple Excel-based solution is available for free so you can explore the templates and provide feedback to EIOPA.
Easy-to-use guided approach
When you access our IRRD reporting tool through your browser, you're presented with a very easy to follow workflow to get you from start to finish. If you can book a flight, you can use our software.

After downloading the template file, it's over to Excel to fill in your data.
The template file is a native Excel file and can easily be completed using either an installed version of Excel or by using Excel in the browser if you have a Microsoft 365 subscription.
The template file should look familiar because we've deliberately made it look as close as possible to what the regulator publishes. This makes it easy for you to provide feedback to EIOPA during the consultation.

To run validations on your completed template file and convert it to the final XBRL output file, you simply upload the template file into your browser and press the relevant button.
When you upload your template file, it stays in your browser's memory and nothing is sent to our servers.
Even if you have validation warnings or errors, you can still generate the XBRL output file.
Note that currently there are no validations specified in the PWD1 taxonomy.
